... CNY trip to KL ...

wah i tell you.. this may be a long long entry liao.. i try to cut short ok?? :P

my family and i went in to KL by Tuas aka 2nd link on 24-Jan early morning (around 7am).. it's a nice weather. Sun wasn't too hot and AYE was smooth..

So, i thought maybe jam won't be that bad.. however, i was damn wrong.. really really wrong.. never in my life that i'm stuck in traffic jam for almost 4hours!!!

we were stuck way before the checkpoint.. way away from the bridge.. before F&N.. (if you know the way to 2nd link very well) me and my 3 younger siblings were in the car.. in order to kill time, we started to munch titbits, choco, biscuits, etc.. at one point my dad even wanted to U-turn and headed home.. haha.. of coz we didn't do that lah.. else, my grandma and uncle will say we bring them to holland le..

SELAMAT DATANG MALAYSIA!!

we cleared the customs at around 11am and the short road to malaysia customs were not too bad; only around 1hour.. what is 1hour compares to the earlier jam hor??

vroom vroom on the north-south highway.. we headed to malacca first before going to KL.. hee.. done a little shopping there.. oh boy, this year i really buy a lot of clothes!!

night falls when we reached KL.. tired tired.. so周公 jioed me for chess early..

除夕

wah i tell u, the spread is damn good!! once a year event mah, that’s why my grandma will cook good food.. comprise of fish, meat, veg, soup which round up to about 9 dishes.. being a cantonese herself, we will eat vegetarian on the first day, so our reunion dinner will be very very 豐富。

初一

was at my 4th uncle's place the whole afternoon.. oh, did i mention that my grandma stayed with him?? anyway, his house is the main focus points every year reunion and first day.. after the ang-pow giving session, off he goes to his in-laws place..

i realized each year we are going later and later to uncle's house.. i remember when we are younger, we would be there about 9am or 10am.. don't know why as we grow older, the 守時習慣 slowly fades away..

初二

this year, we venture to a new shopping centre call Pavilion.. while walking there from the nearest LRT (what we called MRT), we passed berjaya times square.. while my cousins, siblings and mum used the toilet, i found something that i had plans with.. shopping + bowling!! haha.. so happy about it..

haha, now i know what i should do during my june holidays liao.. before i start my 2nd year should enjoy first.. woo hoo!! but stupid me, didn't check out the bowling prices so i don't know how much.. but but, i'm sure it's gonna be cheaper than Singapore..

hmmm.. *day dreaming starts*

maybe i could start with genting first.. but i don't gamble lei.. go there only becoz of the weather.. ask dan they all ba.. haha.. there are few places for selection.. Genting, Sunway Lagoon or KL..

*back to reality (after i nearly walk thru the wall)*

tonight it's my 伯母's turn to show off her excellent cooking.. everyone came over (except my 5th uncle's family ~ they went to Korea for holiday *green horn protruded from my head*)

same too, there are 9 dishes.. everyone enjoyed and followed after was the opening of the TAN's mini gambling den.. the gen 3 had mahjong with gen 2 giving advices and another side was the casino look alike..
