... 2nd China Trip (30/08/13 ~ 20/09/2013) ...

After the first china that I had in January this year, I went on a 3 weeks vacation to 重庆、西安 and
成都. This is just before I start my new job with Keppel.


Since Mr Ang is stationed in 重庆 so I get to visit him during this 3 weeks. However, he will be traveling to Macau for his conference for a week. Hence, I got to go sightseeing on my own during this one week while he is away.


西安 was my first stop and I going to be in this ancient city for 3 days. The trip was great as I get to see my 兵马俑！I must say it is really magnificent! The exhibition area was made up of 3 different halls each housing different types of terracotta warriors and artifacts. Took about 2 hours to complete the whole area. However, if you like to go through the exhibition in detail, would suggest to follow the tour guide for a small fee.


This was part of my one day city tour and I also get to visit some other places of interest in 西安.


The last 3 days I flew to 成都. I was pretty adventurous as I tried to visit this museum call 三星堆博物院. Not a must go place in 成都 if you google. So, why here right? Well, I read an article in 吴谈如book and she recommended this place to visit. Anyway, it is much better than visit shopping centres.


One week passed and I am back to 重庆 before I flew back. Holidays always end fast and he was complaining 3 weeks are not enough. I should have stayed for a month.
