... today..tomorrow ...

If you're mad with someone, and nobody's there to fix the situation... You fix it. Maybe today, that person still wants to be your friend. And if you don't, tomorrow can be too late.

If you're in love with somebody , but that person doesn't know... tell her/him. Maybe today, that person is also in love with you. And if you don't say it, tomorrow can be too late.

If you still love a person that you think has forgotten you... tell her/him. Maybe that person has always loved you. And if you don't tell her/him today, tomorrow can be too late.

If you need a hug of a friend... ask her/him for it. Maybe they need it more than you do. And if you don't ask for it today, tomorrow can be too late.

If you really have friends who you appreciate... tell them. Maybe they appreciate you as well. That if you don't and they leave or go far away today, tomorrow can be too late.

If you love your parents, and never had the chance to show them... do it. Maybe you have them there to show them how you feel. That if you don't and they leave today, and then tomorrow can be too late.

... glass of milk ...

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door.

Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it so slowly, and then asked, How much do I owe you?"

"You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness."

He said ... "Then I thank you from my heart."

As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.

Many year's later that same young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes.

Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.

Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once.

He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to her case.

After a long struggle, the battle was won.

Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill. She read these words ...

"Paid in full with one glass of milk"

(Signed) Dr. Howard Kelly.

Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, God, that Your love has spread broad through human hearts and hands."

There's a saying which goes something like this: Bread cast on the waters comes back to you. The good deed you do today may benefit you or someone you love at the least expected time. If you never see the deed again at least you will have made the world a better place - And, after all, isn't that what life is all about?

... friends ...

My Mom always told me that we could never measure our wealth by money but by our friends. She would surely be glad to meet you and know how rich I turned out to be!

Tiny but wonderful seeds of blessings are sprinkled on earth each day...and I just caught one that's so nice and true.. And it's you!

I may have forgotten to say that I care. I may have failed to open up and share, but though no words have been spoken, my promise of friendship won't be broken. .

Time and distance are important between friends. When a friend is in your heart, they remain there forever. I may be busy, but I assure you, you are always in my heart!

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.

If all my friends were to jump off a bridge, I wouldn't jump with them; I'd be at the bottom to catch them.

One tree can start a forest, one smile can start a friendship. One touch can show you care, one friend can make life worth living for.

A smile makes us look younger... while friends make us feel stronger... and they make us enjoy life.

... movies & tears ...

Tonight there will be a Korean real story on brotherly love (哥哥与我) on channel 56, 9pm. Guess I could still catch it before I go for my SPI event at midnite.. hehe..

It's been a while that i never watch this type of show already.. i'm always very emotional wan when it comes to movie.. just couldn't control my tears when there's a sad scene.. but hor, it only happens when it comes to movies lor.. ;)

In real life, it's been a long long time since i cry liao.. at one time, i thought i have no more tears after breaking up with my last boyfriend.. haha..

Eveyone has their own sad movies.. be it breaking up with their loved ones, a good friend leaving for good or maybe couldn't get into a dream course/job u always think you will, etc. These might just triggers your tear gland..

I remember the worst was when i was younger, watch this show "全家福" by 小彬彬 and i was crying non-stop! As i grow older, it was 刘雪华's "哑妻" dat i have to stand-by tissue box everytime the show starts..

The most amazing part was when 2 years ago (i think so) when i watched "the last samurai" by tom cruise.. guess those who have watch knows this show.. well, my tears were flowing when the part showed the commander (is it har?) watching the soliders from the hill and ordered to kill them.. it was such touching scene!! *shaking my head now* Maybe to some, this movie is not even sad but me i also very surprised that my tears juz flows down my cheek..

Guess after all, we, human beings are the emotional types.. these are the normal feeling we have..

... marriage ...

i hope i'm not being emotional here.. it's really sad to see people getting out of marriage that easily..

Shouldn't marriage be forever? or at least till the day we die? It seems for our society it is not the case..

Friends I known have been in and out of it and it really makes me ponder what's the rational behind it..

Marriage is always something which I have fear in.. to me, if I have no confident in it, I won't easily step into it.. That's why I'm still single (sad sad *sob sob*)

Just hope one day, this fear in me will subside and goes away..

... eVeLYn --- dat's me! ...

finally, i hv my own moblog liao.. guess technology is changing everyday.. imagine last time when there's no internet, we were all relying on mails & phones.. really miss those days.. haha

(haha! this is a cut and paste to blogspot.. so guess quite funny when read hor?? hee..)
